WELCOME

Being a therapist is a sacred calling. Creating a holding space for suffering and fostering a shift toward client healing is vital to my practice. Given the diversity of human experience each client brings, there is not a shortage of paths to bring about the change they wish to see in their lives. I believe that if the science of therapy is mapping out problematic patterns and moving towards a solution, the compassion of therapy is in standing shoulder to shoulder with my clients to understand their unique story.

My work is in empowering clients to be the definers of their own narratives and builders of their own path.

My Core Therapeutic Beliefs

01

Connection drives change

The therapeutic alliance is the greatest predictor of successful treatment. Fit is an integral part of this process.  I believe that trust is earned, not given. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe to bring their authentic selves to therapy. I approach therapy with zeal, warmth, and directness. I invite feedback and collaboration throughout the therapeutic journey.

03

Therapy should be temporary

Therapy is most beneficial when viewed as a temporary, supportive process rather than a long-term commitment. This perspective allows individuals, couples, and families to focus on specific goals, empowering them to develop skills and insights that promote self-reliance and resilience. By engaging in therapy for a defined period, clients can work through their immediate concerns while also learning strategies to handle future obstacles independently.  Ultimately, the aim is to equip individuals with the resources they need to thrive outside of therapy, making the experience both transformative and empowering.

02

Therapy Blueprint

My job as a therapist is to help you map out the overarching problematic patterns, support you in building insight about deep rooted issues, and help move you towards your goals. Once we collaboratively identify your solution sequence, we practice skills in session to empower you to change outside the therapy room.

04

Action Driven

As a trained Acceptance and Commitment Therapist, I believe that though we do not have control over thoughts, emotions, or circumstances, but we do have power over our actions. Focusing on what is in our power to change moves us towards greater acceptance and peace in our lives.
